New Public Officials Installed

Larry W. Sharpe, William K. Lashley, and Dan Ingle were installed as Alamance County Commissioners for the 2004-2008 terms.  Mr. Sharpe has served on the board since 1988, and was elected Chairman at the December 6 meeting to replace outgoing Chariman John K. Patterson.  Mr. Lashley has served on the board since 1996.  Mr. Ingle was elected to his first term in 2004, and was elected Vice-Chairman by the board at the December 6 meeting.

Also at the December 6 meeting, David Barber was installed as Register of Deeds, and Roy J. Stanley and Albert Madren were installed for the Soil and Water Conservation District.
