Our website visitors have been vocal in their applause for our existing site and in their suggestions to see Alamance County provide more and better services through the website. • Intelligent Navigation. The complex collection of links on the county’s homepage have been replaced with a more consistent, easy-to-use menu system. All of the information on the website can be accessed using menus on the left-hand side of the screen, and major sections can be accessed using the menus near the top.
  
• Improved Search Technology. The new easily-accessible search engine allows website users to access the documents and information they need quickly and effectively, with more accurate results than before.
  
• User Friendly Appearance. The new Alamance-NC.com features several enhancements to the overall appearance. We’ve focused on making the site attractive, readable, and accessible to all our citizens.
  
• Future Expandability. The new website includes a completely new format which will allow Alamance-NC.com to expand in the future.

Most of the current information found on our former website has been moved to new website addresses.  You will need to update your favorites and bookmarks if you have bookmarked anything on the old Alamance County Website.  If those bookmarks are not updated, you will receive error messages when you visit the pages.
