Douglas P. Fincannon has been appointed as a County Commissioner by the board to serve out the remaining term left vacant by the passing of W. B. "Junior" Teague, Jr.
Mr. Fincannon is in insurance and began his term as a County Commissioner on April 18, 2005. He has been appointed to the Criminal Justice Partnership Advisory Board, the Alamance Partnership for Children, and the Work First Appeals Board.
