David Smith, County Attorney, has been appointed by the Alamance County Commissioners as interim county manager, following the resignation of David Cheek on June 21. Mr. Smith will serve as county manager as the Commissioners review applications for an individual to fill the position of full-time county manager.
Applications are being accepted for the full-time position until August 15, 2005.
