Well Permit Application
A fee of $300.00 is required to apply for a permit to construct a new well, a replacement well, and $200 to apply for a well repair permit. There is no charge to apply for a well abandonment, but an application is required as well as notification.
Septic Repair Application
There is no charge to apply for a wastewater/septic repair permit. Please fill out this application as completely as possible.
Water Sample Request Application
Please see application for fees required for each type of sample.
Existing System Check Application
Use this application if you have an existing wastewater/septic system and you are adding bedrooms to your home, making additions to your home that increase the footprint of the home, adding outbuilding such as a detached garage or when adding a swimming pool.
This application is also required when moving/replacing houses or mobile homes and for plat approvals required by the Alamance County Planning Department (please check with that office prior to making application).
