A Child Service Coordinator Can...

Help you monitor your child's development by:

  • Giving you information on what to expect at different ages
  • Offering free developmental screenings
  • Working closely with doctors, hospitals, schools, and others who are involved with your child's care

Encourage and Support your family by:

  • Helping you identify your strengths and needs
  • Helping you find answers to your questions
  • Helping you find the services and resources that you need
  • Helping you understand your family's rights
  • Making home visits when it is convenient for your family

Your Child Service Coordinator is a Registered Nurse that has had special training working with families and children.

Who Can Apply?

  • ANY parent who has concerns or worries about their child's growth
  • Most children birth to 5 years of age whose parents/guardian request services

Is There A Cost To YOU?
NO.  This program is available to children regardless of the family's income.  This is a voluntary program.  You may decide to participate now, or at a later time.  You may also withdraw from the program at any time.

  • Are you worried about your child's health?
  • Could you use support and guidance for problems with your child?
  • Do you need financial help in meeting your child's needs for medical care?
  • Has your doctor or nurse told you that your child has a condition that may affect his/her health or development?
