Planning Department
 The Planning Department oversees a number of community activities and the enforcement of many County regulations including: Subdivision Administration, Historic Properties, Comprehensive Planning, Water and Sewer Projects, Community Development, E-911 Addressing, Watershed Protection and all matters relating to land development in rural Alamance County.
This department serves the Technical Review Committee, Planning Board, Historic Properties Commission and Technical Coordinating Committee (Burlington-Graham MPO Transportation).
We are located in the County Office Building at 124 W. Elm St. in Graham. You can call us at 336-228-1312.
Alamance County Land Development Plan
The Alamance County Planning Department is pleased to announce that the first draft of the Alamance Land Development Plan has been completed and is available for the public to view. The Plan has not been adopted by the Board of Commissioners and is still in a draft format.

The Community Meeting Report is comprised of the results of a series of Community Meetings held in 2006 designed to solicit input from citizens for the creation of a Land Development Plan for Alamance County.
