Many recreation programs offered at the Eli Whitney Recreation Center are on-going activities that continue from month to month.  Others are special events that take place this month.  Listed below are descriptions of the various programs at Eli Whitney throughout the year.  For more information about any of these programs, please call Dan Moravec at 570-6761 or email Dan.Moravec@alamance-nc.com.
 

Fitness Room- The Fitness Room is open Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:00pm-8:00pm & Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm.  Cardio & nautilus equipment available for use.  FREE for Adults. 


Line Dance Classes-  Has been Relocated to the Eli Whitney Fire Department. 
Bobbie Gregoris is the instructor. 


Senior Bingo-  Seniors can play Bingo at Eli Whitney every Wednesday morning from 9:00am until 11:00am.  There is no fee to play!  Prizes for winners!


Potluck Lunch-  Held every other month on the 2nd Wednesday at 11am.  Fried Chicken, sodas and paper products will be provided.  Bring a side dish or dessert.  Call 376-6376 for more information.


Family Bingo-  Bring the whole family to Eli Whitney for Bingo on Thursday nights from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  Kids are welcome, too!  There is no fee to play.  Prizes for winners!


*Open Gym-  For September, Open Gym for free play will be on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00pm - 8:00pm & Saturdays 10:00am - 2:00pm.
        *Center Will be Closed Monday, September 1st for Labor Day
