Pleasant Grove Recreation Center Programs
The Pleasant Grove Recreation Center suffered fire and smoke damage on Monday, June 9, 2008 due to a blaze that originated in a supply closet. The fire was contained to a small area of the building. However, smoke damage was experienced throughout the facility.
The Pleasant Grove Recreation Center will be closed to the public until further notice. The facility grounds, including athletic fields, walking track and playground will remain available to visitors.
Programs that were hosted at Pleasant Grove for Senior Citizens including bingo and potluck lunches will be relocated to the Lakeview Civitan building located on Roberta Drive near Glencoe Mill Village.
Please direct all questions regarding the Pleasant Grove Recreation Center and the programs there to the Alamance County Recreation and Parks Department at 336-229-2410.
Welcome to the Pleasant Grove Recreation Center!
Operated by the Alamance County Recreation and Parks Department, the Pleasant Grove Recreation Center serves a variety of leisure needs in northern Alamance County. Programs are offered for senior citizens, youth and adults alike! The facility offers the use of two baseball/softball fields, outdoor walking track, playground, multi-purpose field, full-size basketball gymnasiums, dance floor, exercise room and a spacious activity room for meetings and games.

(This event has been relocated to the Pleasant Grove Elementary School)
