Cedarock Park offers a 1/2 acre pond and stream banks for fishing.  When you are fishing in any waters, excluding coastal waters, in the state of North Carolina, you must abide by NC Wildlife Resources Regulations.  A detailed list of these regulations can be found at www.ncwildlife.org. 

The law now states that you must have a valid NC fishing license to fish anywhere in the state as opposed to previous years when you could fish in your county of residence without a license as long as you were using live bait. You can purchase a one-year license for $15.00 at most sporting good stores or the sporting goods section of many retail outlets.
