A Tribute to Alamance County World War II Veterans

November 10, 2007 A TRIBUTE TO WW II VETERANS - Opening day festivities 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Glencoe Village (off Route 62 North, on Glencoe Street)
The day starts off with a Memorial Service at the Glencoe Baptist Church. That is followed by a parade around the village to the Textile Heritage Museum, featuring the Marine Corps League Color Guard, vintage cars and the museum trolley transporting the veterans, Burlington's Armored Personnel Carrier, etc. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the museum. Come chat with some veterans and enjoy the exhibit!
