Burlington
A city of around 47,592 people located in the center of Alamance County. It began life as a stop on the North Carolina Railroad, and has developed into a center for textiles, technology, and shopping, as well as Alamance County's largest city.
Graham
The county seat of Alamance County, Graham is the home of approximately 13,952 people, as well as the county government, the Graham Courthouse, and the annual Arts Around the Square.
Mebane
Mebane lies on the border of Alamance and Orange Counties. A growing community of over 8,945 people, Mebane is the home of several mills and beautiful golf courses.
Elon
Home to Elon University, this town is the home of close to 7,100 people.
Gibsonville
A town of around 4,569 people, this town lies on the border of Alamance and Guilford County.
Green Level
A small community north of the town of Haw River, Green Level is Alamance County's newest incorporated town, and has a population of 2,129.
Haw River
This small town of around 1,981 lies on the banks of the Haw River, and is home to the Haw River Museum.
Swepsonville
This small southern Alamance County community is home to around 952 people.
Ossipee
A small community on the banks of the Haw River, home to around 328 people.
Alamance
This is Alamance County's smallest community, but home to one of the most important events to occur in our county. Home to around 321 people, and resting on the banks of Big Alamance Creek, Alamance is where part of the Battle of Alamance was fought.
