Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee

Purpose:  To resolve grievances or problems pertaining to patient's rights, to increase community involvement and to promote awareness of the needs of the institutionalized patients.  Requirements for Membership:  Resident of county.  Neither member not immediate family member may have any financial interest in a home served by the committee, or be employed with a home, or have a family member residing in a home served by the committee.  Must receive training by Division of Aging.  GS 131E-128.  Established:  1984
