North Carolina General Statutes require each unit of local government, either individually or in cooperation with other units of local government, to update the local ten-year solid waste management plan every three years.

Below is a draft of the Alamance County updated plan for 2012.  There will be a public meeting held on May 8, 2012 at the County Office Annex, 217 College St, Graham at 7:00pm to discuss the plan.  All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
