Alamance County Land Development Plan

The Alamance County Land Development Plan was adopted by the Alamance County Board of Commissioners in August of 2007. The Plan was developed by the County Planning Staff and Planning Board in conjunction with the Piedmont Triad Council of Governments (PTCOG). This Plan identifies areas of recent growth, trends of growth, and establishes policy recommendations for the County as we move forward.

Destination 2020

The Destination 2020 Plan is a broader reaching policy plan that deals with education, schools, infrastucture improvements, water and air quality, as well as land use and development. The Plan was adopted by the Board Commissioners on April 21, 2003.
