A Subdivision Waiver is when a developer is granted an exemption to a part or parts of the Subdivision Ordinance. There are three main reasons why a waiver may be applied for:

1. To create a Planned Unit Development

2. To create a Cluster Development

3. In cases where characteristics unique to the lot that prevents the developer from creating a subdivision of land pursuant to the subdivision ordinance.
