Alamance County Recreation and Parks Commission
The Recreation and Parks Commission serve as the advisory body for the Department of Recreation and Parks. The Commission suggests policies to the Department, the Manager and the Alamance County Board of Commissioners. The Commission serves as a liaison between the Department, the Manager, the Alamance County Board of Commissioners and the citizens of Alamance County. The Commission consults with and advises the Department, the Manager and the Alamance County Board of Commissioners in matters affecting recreation policies, program, personnel, finances, and the acquisition of lands and properties related to the total County recreation and parks needs.
