Great Bend Park at Glencoe has approximately 20 beautifully wooded acres along the Haw River with almost a mile of river frontage which offers spectacular views from the hiking trails and designated fishing areas. Picnicing, fishing, hiking and paddle access points area available.
Along with its amenities the property supports statewide and local efforts to promote conservation through recreation along the Haw River. The park extends the Haw River Trail/Mountains-to-Sea Trail by almost a mile.

Rules and Regulations
The park is owned and operated by the Alamance County Recreation and Parks Department. Park Rules and Regulations will be enforced by the Alamance County Sheriff's Department.
