The Application Process
Parents must apply for services at our office located at 319 N. Graham-Hopedale Road, Suite C, Burlington, NC 27217. A Child Care social worker will review the application and determine eligibility. When a family is approved for child care subsidy services, a Child Day Care Voucher will be issued for each eligible child. The voucher indicates that the child is eligible for a subsidized child care payment and notifies the child care provider of the hours that child care is needed and whether the parent is responsible for a portion of the fee.
Subsidy services are based on eligibility, the need for child care, and the availability of funds.
A waiting list is formed once funds have been depleted.
