There is no better exercise for the heart than lifting someone up.

 

The Alamance County Department of Social Services and Foster Families together work to ensure safety and security for children who need it most. Foster Parents are critical in this equation – they provide a stable home for children until they can either return to their family or find permanent adoptive homes…

Who can become a foster parent?
Anyone 21 or older
– Married, single, divorced, widowed, etc..
– With our without children in the home.
– Renters or home owners.
– Have financial stability,
– Any race, religion, or nationality.

Why be a foster parent?
– At any given time, there are more than 100 children in foster care in your own county.
– To help support, love, and care for a child/children in need.
