Health support

Help in getting the necessary medical care, treatment and support.  An example would be helping a person addicted to prescription medication recognize the effects on their family and planning treatment with their doctor to assure treatment or admission to a health-related facility.



Individual and family adjustment
Providing assistance to indivdiuals with social or environmental problems, planning steps to deal with these problems and in taking necessary action.


Meals-on-wheels

Provides one meal a day for people under the age of 60 who are home bound and unable to cook for themselves. Persons over the age of 60 may call  336-228-8815 and talk to access meals on wheels representative.



Temporary Assistance to Families
Assists persons who have minor children in the home, are working, and need emergency assistance to maintain employment and self-sufficency. Example: assistance with car repairs, uniforms or equipment for work, etc.
