Alamance Community College Board of Trustees Vacancy
The Alamance County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified citizen to fill a vacancy on the Alamance Community College Board of Trustees. The appointee will be appointed to a 4-year term.
Description: To be a member of the governing board of Alamance Community College within the framework of the Community Colleges Act and to assure adequate and competent administration for the efficient operation of Alamance Community College.
Desired qualifications: Familiarity with Alamance County and a history of advocacy for post-secondary educational training.
MEETINGS: The ACC Board of Trustees typically meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 pm (except July & December) in the Wallace W. Gee Bldg. G-222, Alamance Community College.
MEMBERS: Four of the board members are appointed by the County Board of Commissioners; four members are appointed by the Board of Education and four members are appointed by the Governor.
