Purpose: To govern Alamance Community College within the framework of the Community Colleges Act, Chapter 115D of the General Statutes of North Carolina and to assure adequate and competent administration for the efficient operation of Alamance Community College. Requirements for Membership: Familiarity with Alamance County and history of advocacy for post secondary educational training. GS 115D. Established: 1963 TIA / 1958 IEC.
Members: Four of the board members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners; four members are appointed by the Board of Education and four members are appointed by the Governor. The appointments are four-year terms.
