Welcome to the official website for the Alamance County Board of Elections. Our office is committed to maintaining current and accurate voter files, maximizing voter registration and voter turnout efforts, educating the voting public, providing the best possible services and conducting efficient, fair, honest and impartial elections at a minimum cost to the electorate.


The board meeting on 10/22 has been cancelled, due to all absentee ballots already being run on Tuesday 10/20.

Questions for the Board

The Board of Elections has expressed interest in fielding questions from the public at Board meetings. To facilitate this, a form has been added under the “Contact Us” tab at the top of all pages of our website. This form can be used to submit any questions that you would like answered regarding Alamance County’s election process.


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, certain permanent polling locations have been replaced with larger, temporary locations. This list can be found here.
