Be an every day hero…

become a volunteer firefighter!

Volunteer Information

Fire Departments are made up of community residents who are dedicated to the service of others.  Firefighters are dedicated to safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens they are sworn to protect by means of fire suppression, medical response, and rescue.  They answer calls for a wide array of incidents including structural fires, woods fires, hazardous materials incidents, confined space rescues, auto accidents, water rescues, and medical emergencies.

Our Alamance Fire Departments are actively seeking new volunteers to join our ranks! Consider giving back to the community and forming life-long friendships by becoming a volunteer firefighter!
