The Alamance County Health Department offers birth control services and health education about birth control and reproductive health. Pregnancy testing, physical exams, pap tests, and sexually transmitted disease counseling and testing are also available. All services are safe and confidential.

- Sexually transmitted disease counseling and testing are also available.
The client’s vaccination schedule is reviewed and updated, if needed, for:
- Rubella,
- Varicella
- Tetanus-diptheria
- Hepatitis A/B
- Gardasil (offered for a fee unless eligible for free state supplied vaccine)
We also offer the Family Planning Medicaid Waiver Program. This program assists women 19 through 55 and men 19 through 60 with obtaining FREE Family Planning Services such as birth control, if they do not qualify for other Medicaid programs.
