New! Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation Programs

Alamance Parks has launched a new Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation Program. These programs are open and inclusive to people of all abilities ages 8+ (16 and under require adult supervision). Check out the schedule below for upcoming events and please join us!

April 20 • Fairchild Park

INCLUSIVE Basketball Tournament from Alamance Air Saturday, April 20th @ Fairchild Community Center 9:00 am-1:30 pm We are inviting you to create a basketball team for our inclusive basketball fundraiser Photo: A photo of previous years' basketball participants posing on gym bleachers. Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation Program Basketball Fundraiser Sponsorship Opportunity Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation We strive to provide recreation services for individuals of all abilities, operating from a strengths-based perspective. Our goal is to encourage each participant to attain their highest level of independent functioning by increasing leisure awareness, introducing and building a variety of skills, and promoting active engagement in the Alamance community.
