Fishing at Cedarock Park

Trout have arrived at Cedarock Park! The season is open to the public as of Monday, December 13.

Bank fishing opportunities are available at the park’s two ponds and along Rock Creek. The main pond is stocked with catfish and bream year-round, and trout in the winter months.

You must have a valid NC Fishing License to fish in the park. To support the cost of stocking the ponds, we also require a Cedarock Park Fishing Pass. Daily passes are $5 and annual passes are $35. There is a total catch limit of six fish per day, per pass. The daily catch limit for trout is 4 fish. No catch & release of trout.
