Fishing at Cedarock Park

Trout were stocked at Cedarock Park in mid-December. Please read below for information about fishing at the park!

Bank fishing opportunities are available at the park’s pond and along Rock Creek. The main pond is stocked with catfish and bream year-round, and trout in the winter months.

Each adult (16 years and older) must have a valid NC Fishing License to fish in the park. To support the cost of stocking the ponds, we also require a Cedarock Park Fishing Pass. Daily passes are $5 and annual passes are $35. There is a total catch limit of six fish per day, per pass. The daily catch limit for trout is 4 fish. No catch & release of trout. For details on fishing in the park and how to purchase a pass please click here.

Please carry both your license and pass with you when you fish.
