Explore Archery

**New Program for 2020**

Winter Session: Tuesdays starting January 21 through February 25, 2020 • Two Sessions: 4-5:30pm or 6-7:30pm • Pleasant Grove Community Center

Explore Archery is an innovative education program focused on introducing beginners of all ages and abilities to the lifelong sport of target archery (must be 8 by the first session). Explore Archery is a versatile archery education program that is fun, rewarding, developmentally progressive and — most important — safe.

Join us for 6 Week course that will teach you the fundamentals of target archery. We will cover range safety, equipment, shooting form, shot execution, and scoring.

Registration Fee: $40 for Alamance County residents, $50 for non-residents. Your registration fee covers everything. You do not need to purchase any equipment, our department will provide everything you will need.

This is a perfect opportunity for parents to get involved as well. Adults and kids age 8 and up are invited.

All sessions are lead by USA Archery Certified Level 2 Instructors:
Nolan Carter
Jason Witherspoon

If the class fills up we will try and expand to offer a different time. So please feel free to join the waitlist.

Any makeup dates due to snow/ice will be added to the end of the program.
