The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office arrested three (3) individuals during the Alamance County Board of Commissioner’s meeting Monday night November 17, 2020. The three were participants of the Alamance Alliance 4 Justice Forward Motion Alamance Power to The People Rally held during the Commissioner’s meeting. The protest was estimated be include 30-35 people. Approximately 10 of the protesters were allowed inside the Historic Courthouse where the meeting was being held.
As the meeting was going into recess, the protesters became disruptive and were asked to leave at which point 3 were arrested.
Two other protesters were arrested at the Alamance County Detention Center after repeatedly being told to leave the premises.
