This year the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office sponsored fourteen families that were identified by our school resource officers as needing some extra support this Christmas. Families and all 45 children were given Christmas presents and boxes of food to help make this season a little more special.

The Alamance Sheriff’s Office is extremely grateful for all of our partners that helped with this project. Thank you to our employees who bought gifts and donated food and our school social workers and school resource officers who helped coordinate and make deliveries. We also want to thank Trinity Worship Center for the additional food boxes and the Maverick, First Source Equipment Rentals and Sales, and Granddaddy’s Antique Mall for their generous donation which helped to make all of this possible.

“This year, more than ever, has been extremely challenging for many of the families in our community. We at the Sheriff’s Office often see first-hand the struggles and needs that many of our residents face so we wanted to bring a little Christmas cheer into their lives. Delivering presents and food to these families today has truly been the highlight of my holiday season, and I continue to be forever grateful for the honor of serving this community,” said Sheriff Johnson.
