On December 30, 2020, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to a sexual assault. The victim believed that she was drugged and raped and that there were items missing from her home. The victim was transported to Alamance Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
After several attempts to speak with the victim, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office established contact again May 28, 2021, and informed the victim that the results from the sexual assault kit had been released to the Sheriff’s Office.
On June 1, 2021, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for arrest for Robert Warren Lynch. Mr. Lynch was arrested by the Greensboro Police Department on June 22, 2021, and given a secured bond of $500,000.
