In the month of July 2021, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes / Special Operations Unit began an investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin within Alamance County.  This investigation led to the search warrant execution at 317 N. Park Ave., Burlington, NC. 

As a result of the search, deputies located approximately 4.5 grams of suspected heroin, several dosage units of prescription medication, and a small amount of marijuana.  Mr. Kenneth Blackwell was taken into custody and charged with three (3) counts of Sell/Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance, PWISD a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling, Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
