On Friday, August 6, 2021, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation when a juvenile was reported missing. On Sunday, August 8, 2021. the juvenile was returned home sometime early that morning. After receiving additional information, detectives with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for Thomas Anthony Morales.
Detectives worked with the State Bureau of Investigation and apprehended Mr. Morales in Indian Trail, North Carolina on August 11, 2021. Mr. Morales was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center and given a $40,000 secured bond.
