On October 3, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle whose license plate had been stolen. During the stop, a K-9 was used for an open-air sniff of the vehicle in which he gave a positive indication. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found a lock box in a passenger’s handbag that contained packages of heroin and methamphetamine. As a result, Jamaica Morris was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center and charged.
