On the morning of November 20, 2021, an Alamance County Sheriff’s Office deputy was on patrol on Durham Street Extension when he observed a silver Monte Carlo with unique chrome rims pulling out of a driveway. This Monte Carlo was recognized from a BOLO sent out the day before by the Gibsonville Police Department for being involved in a residential break-in. The deputy stopped the vehicle and learned that the occupants had just broken into the residence where they were exiting.
Mario Lynndale Williams and Khalid Devontae Gwynn were arrested on outstanding processes. They both were additionally charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Felony Larceny of a Firearm.
