The Business Personal Section is part of the Personal Property Division of the Tax Department. They are responsible for the listing and assessing of approximately 4,700 businesses.
There are three persons in the Business Personal Section
- Tax Auditor
- (2) Listing Clerks
The Business Personal Section lists and assesses personal property belonging to businesses (machinery & equipment, furniture & fixtures, computers & software, tools & supplies, etc.). They review any appeal of business-owned personal property. They also administrate our business personal auditing program.
