Christmas at Cedarock Historical Farm

Please join us this Saturday (the Eve of St. Nicholas’ Day) to celebrate Christmas at the Cedarock Historical Farm as it would have been in the late 1800s. The period for filing notice of candidacy for various Federal, State, District and County Offices begins 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 and ends at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 21, 2015. Candidates filing for State Senate, State House and all county offices will file their notice of candidacy with the Alamance County Board
The Alamance County Historic Properties Commission is currently seeking members. The Alamance County Historic Properties Commission is an 11 member advisory board that deals with the active preservation and designation of Alamance County’s historic landmarks and districts. The Commission is also responsible for the review of applications for Certificates of Appropriateness related to the rehabilitation
Alamance County Farm Bureau’s project of two years is complete. Alamance County Agriculture, a book by Brent Lancaster with photos by Sam Roberts documenting agriculture past and present is available for purchase for $20. All proceeds will be donated to charity.
