On May 18, 2021, at approximately 7:00 a.m., The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office attempted to conduct a stop of Mr. Ricky Dilon Price who had an active Warrant for Arrest. Mr. Price refused to stop his vehicle, proceeded to increase his speed, and turned into oncoming traffic. Unfortunately, deputies were unable to locate Mr. Price or his vehicle at that time.
Later that evening, a deputy from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office conducted a routine patrol in the area of McCray Road and Highway 49 North, when he came upon Mr. Price. After confirming his identity, the deputy approached the suspect who ran away and disappeared into the woods. With the help of an Alamance County Sheriff’s Office K-9, Mr. Price was apprehended, taken into custody, and placed under a $30,000 secured bond.
