On Monday, June 14, 2021, at 7:20 p.m., members of the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During initial contact, the odor of Marijuana was detected. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded 8.68 grams of Marijuana, 2 handguns, and several paraphernalia items. A passenger in the vehicle, Sheena Marie Ambrose, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Ms. Ambrose was taken before Magistrate Roney and issued a first appearance in court for June 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. and given a $2,000.00 secured bond.
