On June 15, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit conducted a traffic stop. Due to the nature of the stop, a K9 was utilized on the vehicle, and a positive alert was received. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded 90.9 grams of Methamphetamine, 1.66 grams Heroin, and several drug paraphernalia items.

The driver, William Clifton Pollock, was taken before Magistrate Hunter and charged with two counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Pollock was issued a citation for Driving While License Revoked and having a fictitious registration.
