On June 28, 2021, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Alamance County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Crawford Road in Graham in response to a domestic disturbance that involved a firearm. It was reported that the suspect, Alexis James Lopez, had shot at the victim as she was trying to leave the home.
Due to information received from the victim, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team activated, and Alexis James Lopez was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent To Kill and Assault on a Female.
