Male Charged with Felony for Stalking

On Monday, July 19, 2021, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that Samuel Maroon continued to make contact with an individual in violation of a Domestic Violence Protective Order. The Sheriff’s Office then obtained warrants for Mr. Maroon’s arrest. Later that month on July 29, the Sheriff’s Office received additional information that Mr. Maroon was continuing to text and email the victim. Additional charges were taken out, and a BOLO was issued.  

On August 5, 2021, the Sheriff’s Office received information that Mr. Maroon was in Tennessee. Investigators continued to monitor Mr. Maroon who turned himself in to the Alamance County Detention Center on August 17, 2021, and given a $7,500 secured bond.
