On Tuesday October 11, 2022, Detention Center Investigators were made aware of a threat against a Government Official. During the investigation, Detectives learned that Wendell Patterson made the verbal threat as a result of his daughter, Stephanie Nicole Patterson, being incarcerated for attempting to bring contraband to her son in the Jail.
During the interview with Mr. Patterson, he admitted to Detectives that he did in fact make the statement.
Mr. Patterson was arrested and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center.
