The Alamance County Health Department’s Communicable Disease Clinic offers testing, treatment, and prevention of many reportable communicable diseases.

Other communicable diseases reported by physicians and labs are investigated and follow-up is provided without charge.

We are also responsible for responding to disease outbreaks (including, but not limited to COVID-19, influenza) and situations which involve providing urgent medical care to our county.
