Katherine Dahlquist is the owner and photographer of Brass Birdie Studio. She has had a long-time interest in studying the traditions and momento-mori used to honor the deceased of the 19th-century era. She will share and discuss the unique and somewhat bizarre rituals that were rigidly adhered to by much of early American society.
