Special Guest: Mrs. Lynn Gorges, renowned quilt and textile preservationist, will provide a presentation/workshop on the history of plaid quilts. Living history demonstrations, special exhibits celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Burlington Industries, and Student Scavenger Hunt are some of the activities we will celebrate our textile heritage in Historic Glencoe.

Katherine Dahlquist is the owner and photographer of Brass Birdie Studio. She has had a long-time interest in studying the traditions and momento-mori used to honor the deceased of the 19th-century era.
