The purpose of the Alamance County Performance Management Program (PMP) is to provide good service to the publicand other County Departments, create efficiencies, and ensure that Alamance County Government remains open and responsive to its citizens.
With this program, County Departments have committed to set goals each year as well as track and report regularly to administration. Based on the success of these goals and the County’s financial health, Departments will be able to retain percentages of any general fund savings realized at the end of the fiscal year.
The program was implemented in the 2012/2013 fiscal year with Departments achieving 75% of their goals. Since then, departments have improved with 95% reaching their goals for the2015/2016 year. Each department is committed to continual improvement within the program by creating specific, measurable, and meaningful goals that support the overarching initiatives within Alamance County government.
